Manu has seen the world. At just 16, he left his family home to explore the globe. He worked at a leather factory, cooked and washed pots at a restaurant and traveled the seven seas as a cabin boy. He went ashore on the Canary Islands and made belts, bags and sandals from leather. In his Land Rover, he cossed the Sahara and discovered the African continent. He travelled all around South America, from the Amazonia to Tierra del Fuego. But then he fell in love with the island of Ibiza, bought a little boat and lived of fishing for a whole year. Later, he started to sell tops and scarves from Bali on the beach of ‘Es Torrent’. During the long winters, he travelled around all of South East Asia, including Vietnam and Laos, bringing back exclusive products that earned him the name ‘MANU ES TORRENT’. Finally, he imported high-grade wood from Bali and built Can Fusta with his own hands. From rags to paradise, this is Manu’s story. You can feel it in every second and every detail. That’s what makes Can Fusta so unique.
